The price of one of our limited AKC or ACA registered Alaskan Malamute puppies is $1200.00.

Limited registration simply means no breeding rights with any dog registry.

Contact us for information about obtaining full registration.

All of our Alaskan Malamute puppies come with a three year health guarantee.

After we receive your deposit, we will keep you informed on mother and puppy progress. Once the puppies are born, we will send you a birth announcement & birthday pictures. We will also send you weight and pictures at two, four, and six weeks of age to keep you updated on your puppy. We will start to make selections at four weeks of age, based on placement of deposit.

We accept credit cards (Master Card, Visa, American Express & Discover), bank checks, and personal checks only if prepaying for the puppy. No puppy will be shipped until the check for the full purchase price has cleared your bank and is fully available to us. If the puppy is paid for at the time of pick up, cash is required.

Should you decide not to purchase the puppy you have picked out after we have received your deposit, you will lose the deposit. All payments are non-refundable once they have been received by us.

SHIPPING:

Shipping will cost $345.00, which covers airfare (American Airlines usually charges an average of $220 plus $10 for insurance), crate (airline approved at Petco $69), and veterinarian health certificate ($62 within 10 days prior to flight, required by the airlines). Sometimes special provisions require additional transportation costs (like having to use a different airline in special weather conditions or certain airport destinations). The puppies are shipped at the expense of the purchaser and we will comply with the guidelines of the air carriers. We will handle all shipping arrangements to suit what is best for your puppy. Puppies will be available for shipping at 8 weeks and will be shipped at a time that the buyer and seller agree upon and what is best for the puppy. Puppies will be available at 8 weeks if purchaser picks up the puppy.

To the best of our knowledge all puppies sold will be in great condition and healthy at the time of sale. We follow great veterinary practices and provide proper care to ensure the health and safety of our puppies.

If for any reason, or at any time, you cannot keep your puppy/dog please call us first.

To guarantee your selection of one of our Alaskan Malamute puppies, a non-refundable deposit of $200.00 must be received within 5 days of request. The deposit is applied toward the purchase price of your puppy. Puppies are chosen in the order we receive deposits. We start to make our selection of the puppies once the reach 4 weeks old. You must be available either in person or online once the puppies are 4 weeks old to make your selection. If you are not available to make your selection at the appropriate time, you must wait until the next litter. The entire balance due to include shipping, if applicable, must be paid by the time your puppy reaches 6 weeks of age. There are no cash refunds on any money received by Howl at the Moon Malamutes. Any money received is used for the care of our Malamutes.

All puppies will need to be picked up when they reach 8 weeks of age. If you are unable to pick up your puppy at 8 weeks of age, there will be a $50.00 per week charge to care for your puppy. Unless you have made other arrangements with us, any puppy not picked up by 10 weeks of age will be resold and you will lose any money paid to Howl at the Moon Malamutes. If your puppy is flying to your location, it will be flown at 8 weeks of age, weather permitting. If your puppy has to fly and weather is not allowing us, you do not have to pay the additional week charge, we will simply fly your puppy as soon as the weather permits.

SHOTS/PARASITES:

Your Malamute will/has receive(d) their first puppy shot at 7 weeks of age, and all up to date preventative dewormers. You will be given a health/shot record for your new Malamute. You will need at least three more vet visits to finish all puppy shots and dewormings within the first 4 months of age. The buyer is responsible to ensure their puppy is up to date on all vaccinations and dewormings and clear of internal and external parasitic infestations at all times. If your Malamute is not given all of its shots and dewormers at the appropriate time, as advised by your veterinarian, the warranty portion of this contract is VOID. Your Alaskan Malamute needs to be seen by your vet for a full evaluation within 48 hours of you receiving your puppy.

WARRANTY:

We cannot guarantee the color, height, weight, or hair length of any of our puppies. We do not provide a guarantee against cryptorchidism (a common condition in purebreds where only one or neither testicle descend). This will not prevent you from neutering your male puppy.

We do guarantee the following health aspects of your Alaskan Malamute for three years. For Howl at the Moon Malamutes to be able to offer you a guarantee for three years, the buyer agrees to provide the Malamute puppy proper nutrition by feeding them a high quality dog food from "Life's Abundance" found on our website at http://www.themoonmalamutes.com/petfood.html. Accessing the "Life's Abundance" site from our pet food page to order your Malamute's food and nutrition supplements provides us proof that you are providing your Malamute puppy the proper nutrition to validate the warranty portion of this contract. You will need to save your receipts to show you have kept them on the "Life's Abundance" dog food and "Life's Abundance" "Agility" supplement. Your puppy is guaranteed for three years against life threatening genetic defects. If there should be a valid, verifiable claim from a licensed veterinarian, of a life threatening genetic defect, you will receive a replacement puppy of the same sex and color. In addition, we also guarantee your puppy against severe hip dysplasia for three years. This excludes any accidents, trauma, or improper nutrition that your Malamute has received. For us to review a valid claim, we must receive a photograph taken of your Malamute at the time of x-ray. An x-ray would need to be taken on your Malamute and submitted to the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals). If the report reads a rating of severe hip dysplasia, from the OFA, we will replace your Malamute with a puppy of the same sex and color. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges or transport cost on the replacement puppy. Howl at the Moon Malamutes has up to one year to replace a puppy under the terms of this warranty.

The buyer is responsible for all medical bills associated with their Malamute. There will be no cash refunds or reimbursement at any time. If your Malamute has been used for breeding at any time, the warranty portion of this contract is VOID. Howl at the Moon Malamutes is not responsible for any expenses pertaining to the above named Alaskan Malamute.

BREEDING:

You do not have permission to breed this Alaskan Malamute you have purchased from Howl at the Moon Malamutes. All of our puppies are sold with limited registration and a spay/neuter contract. Which means no breeding rights. Your puppy will be sold with limited registration with either AKC or the ACA. If you would happen to breed your Alaskan Malamute, you cannot register your Alaskan Malamute or the puppies with any other dog registry. Breeding your dog and registering the puppies under ANY dog registry will void the warranty portion of this contract and you will voluntarily pay $20,000.00 U.S. Dollars in damages, to Howl at the Moon Malamutes. You will also pay all court cost associated with this matter. We simply want you to fully understand that this Alaskan Malamute cannot be bred for any reason. We will take full legal action if you decide to do so or if you claim it was an "accident". Please have your Alaskan Malamute spayed or neutered to prevent this from happening. Your Malamute puppy needs to be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age or the warranty portion of this contract is void. You will receive your AKC or ACA registration paperwork only after Howl at the Moon Malamutes has received and verified the spay or neuter from your veterinarian. You have until this puppy is one year of age to provide proof of the spay/neuter and request the registration paperwork. Limited registration simply means that your Alaskan Malamute can do everything entitled to a fully registered dog except show in the breed ring and reproduce. Your Alaskan Malamute can still show in Agility, Obedience, Tracking, Field trials, Herding, Lure Coursing, and Earth dog events. You can also participate in all pulling, racing, sledding, and sporting activities.

TRANSFER:

If you are unable to keep your Alaskan Malamute, you MUST first notify us. If you do decide to transfer your Malamute after notifying us, you must first provide us with the spay/neuter proof before you will be allowed to transfer your Alaskan Malamute. The warranty portion of this contract is void if your Malamute has been transferred, sold, or given away for any amount of time.

LEGAL/REMEDIATION:

Any legal action by the buyer must be filed in El Paso County, Colorado. The buyer will be responsible for their legal expenses. The buyer is also responsible for all legal expenses and attorney fees incurred by Howl at the Moon Malamutes in any case filed and is ruled in favor of Howl at the Moon Malamutes.

Signature of this contract also implies permission for the seller to receive any and all veterinarian records from the buyers veterinarian regarding the above named Alaskan Malamute.
